Dec 30, 2006 22:10

HELLO muses_stewpot!Yup, I'm completely butting my non-moderator head in here, and I really apologize if it's not okay (though I do know the mods and they are nice, so maybe they won't kick me too hard). Really, I'm just trying to find things to do so I don't have to go and do housework, which I should be doing. Shortly, I will have posted to every LJ ( Read more... )

Congrats, chainkill! =)

A new challenge, oh my! And that was a good one, too...dangit, I know I had an idea for that one, what was it? Well, at least we'll have something going. Will I respond? Um, maybe...hopefully! (I would love to.) Will I respond on time? Haha...probably not. But...yeah, at least we'll have something going! That's better than nothing. And I really do not want this community to die...I'm very attached to it. And it will be good for all of us to have stuff to critique...maybe that will inspire us (*cough* me) to write again. Thanks Smed!

What did I write for challenge 26? I don't even remember. Was that the story about angels?

Thank you all, I'd like to thank the academy, and my housekeeper when I was three and a half, and my puppy for proofreading everything.

I'm glad somebody posted something here. This is a small enough and tight enough community, with consistent enough rules, that I think it's okay if someone else makes a post like this other than gelsey.

Heck of a puppy! Can I hire him/her as my proofreader? Do milkbones suffice as payment? ;)

Yes, it was the story about angels. It was a long time ago - it's been quiet around here... too quiet...

Yup, I'm good at butting in! :) I couldn't just let it sit here much longer, I like this place too much!

I'm rather fond of it, too. So I shall step in and take over, BWAHAHAHAHA! *ahem* I mean, fill in while gelsey and triskellion are too busy. :)

Helloooooo

I just joined this community, and I was wondering how you go about submitting stories for the challenges, and if there are any guidelines we're supposed to follow.

Let me know.

Thanks!

Not many, really. We're pretty laid back. Mainly, there's a little header you can put at the top:

Title:
Author:
Challenge #:
Rating:
Disclaimers: If any should apply...>

And then just remember to lj-cut anything too long.

You can also submit non-challenge pieces for critique, too. :)

Welcome!

The quote can be anywhere in the story, right?

Hehehe. I love you, smeddley. I've just been so busy lately that I completely forgot my resolution to get this comm up and running again. You are wonderful :D

Thanks! I will try to do better but thank you for stepping in :)

I am allowed to beat you with a wet noodle if you fall behind again, yes? And none of that angel-hair pasta, either, missy. No, no, it'd be lasagna noodles for you! :O

Yes, wet noodles are allowed. And trust me, I need them. At least I know I'll be writing a bit next semester, since I'm in a creative writing class for school.

But yes, you have my full permission to nag and whip and all that sort of stuff. I really do appreciate it :)

This calls for a new icon... I must ponder this...

Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Pinky? ;)
