01. There's part of him that has always suspected that he was missing something, missing part of the puzzle. It never occurred to him that the missing something was his "best friend" turning his back on God and all that they did back home.
02. Gabriel still can't bring himself to hate Michael for what he's done. He doesn't understand why, but he still can't turn his back on the person who's stood back to back with him for over a millennia.
03. It may seem that he's rather cold and stand-off-ish, but he actually enjoys watching humans. More than he'd ever let on.
04. A side effect of this, perhaps, is a very deep desire to actually become human. To live a life full of choices and temptations, to see if he could remain as he is. Or if he'd change because of what he comes into contact with.
05. Probably one of the few "Kanda"s that hates soba. He tried it, and didn't like it at all.
06. Does know how to use a katana and is very skilled in its usage. In fact, he'd prefer to use the blade, but is under orders to use the handguns. He sees the significance of using them, just wishes he could use his katana.
07. Even though he grumps like a Kanda, Gabriel is very protective of the Innocents he comes across. He'll do anything he can to protect them, no matter if it's a Lavi that just braided his hair and makes nicknames out of his name, or if it's a Rhode whom is the most evil Noah this side of the Mississippi. It's his job to protect them from the Fallen and guide them to the light.
08. Likes watching the stars from earth-side. They make him feel more human, more insignificant and less part of the plan.
09. Seeing Alma is like twisting a knife in the Arc's heart. It's so painful for him to be near the innocent boy, but at the same time he can't help but cling to the better memories his presence invokes.
10. He's rather...unsure about his abilities to complete his task. Not from his faith in God being shaken, but his own confidence in himself. Not knowing whom the enemy is or what they look like, not having his "family" around him...it rattled him more than he lets on.
11. Has a small deer that follows him around named Zuriel, Hebrew for "The Lord is my rock." It was named after a shield brother of Gabriel's that fell in battle.
12. Likes apples. And not because of that whole fake-marriage thing to the Shinigami/Death God thing. Or because they're that original forbidden fruit. But they just taste refreshing.
13. Dislikes technology, he likes how simple everything was before it, and that includes his guns.
14. Smells a lot like baby powder for some reason, not really sure why he does since he never uses it. But it just sort of clings to him.
15. Even though he's been mortal for months now, Gabriel still has trouble with remembering to eat and sleep. He almost refuses to until his body is dragging at itself in order to try and get one or the other.
16. Doesn't care for the current style of Christmas, it's just too far away from what it's supposed to be about. But he's not so far that he'll start preaching about it or pushing it into people's heads because that's just wrong. x:
17. Would do anything to protect an Innocent, even take their place on a chopping block/table if he had to. He doesn't care if he doesn't know them or like them, it's his duty and hell if he's going to do anything less.
18. Has found out that his joints crack when he moves them in a specific way and finds the noise slightly addicting as well as annoying. But the little bit of feeling that comes with it reminds him that he's mortal now and he has to be careful.
19. While a creature of God, Gabriel detests being in a church. This is mostly because he can't commune with God, connect with him. And he hates the reminder that he's all alone in this horrible place or in Purgatory.
20. He likes Goldfish. Not the real fishies, but the snack ones. They're nummy. :3 Not that he would ever admit that.
21. SEX BETWEEN MEN TAKES A LOT OF WORK. His first thought, really. If he could change his body's gender then he would. That way it might not be as painful. But it does feel good after a while so once you get past the busy work it's quite nice. And he does like it.
22. Gabriel wouldn't be much of a fan of heavy bondage to be honest. At least not at first, it might have to be one of those gradual things? Not that he couldn't get out of the restraints if he used his powers anyway. Don't know if he'd like being dominated like that though. He wouldn't like that thought much.
23. If the kitchen was busy and he was hungry, Gabriel would probably just go hungry. Or if he had to make dinner for himself and Cross then he'd find another kitchen. He knows simple things to make. Just no soba.
