Anubis, God of Dead, Floats Down Thames!
Many thanks to fallenseraph for bringing this to my attention.
The rather unsightly Millennium Dome, re-christened the O2 Bubble, is hosting the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs from November 15th until the end of August 2008. Hopefully we can sort out a visit.
In preparation for this a 25ft statue of Anubis came floating down the Thames yesterday. It is being installed at Trafalgar Square. Certainly a sight I would have liked to see.
