Roald Dahl Museum

Hello MuseumPeople!

There has been a bit of a kerfuffle over the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre's campaign to save the garden hut where the author wrote his stories. The hut and its contents have been untouched since his death 21 years ago, and is now in a state of disrepair. The campaign hopes to raise £500,000 to move it to the Museum where ( Read more... )

Unless I'm missing something, it seems to me the outrage is totally misplaced. Sure, if that 500,000 quid were coming out of people's tax money, the public coffers, then, sure, go ahead and be upset ( ... )
