Hmph! Nothing we can do about it? If everyone gives up as quickly as you do, it's no wonder everybody thinks this way! And you're not even the first 'New Feather' I've seen submit so quickly...
Ho ho! Yes! If people were more imaginative with their artifacts, they'd realise they can use them for more than reckless destruction. Why waste the power of such a thing with an act as unimaginative as destroying the world? That doesn't even serve a purpose!
I have to agree with you on this. What is he ever going to do with a destroyed universe anyway? [Honestly, Peach has no idea what Bleck is trying to do.]
Ba ha ha! Yes! [Hope you like story time.] I had discovered in orbit around the Earth an abandoned space colony, the ARK. Mounted on it? A cannon with the power to cause worldwide destruction when powered by all seven Chaos Emeralds!
In my genius, I formulated a plan to bring the world to its knees by threatening it with the fully charged Eclipse Cannon. I collected all seven Emeralds and it seemed that all was going according to plan! However, my brilliant plot went somewhat skew-whiff when the space colony found itself hurtling towards the planet, essentially acting as a super-charged bomb that would end all life on Earth!
[And yet, he still sounds pretty proud of himself somehow.]
[Peach listens carefully to the story being told to her. Well, not really a big surprise there that Eggman decided to use a canon to threat the entire world. The 'giant bomb going towards Earth' part is what gets her worried.]
And... just how did you stop such a thing from happening? I mean, I don't know how you stop an entire space colony from crashing on Earth.
Well we had to use that, er, what do they call it again? ... Teamwork! That's the one! Oh ho ho!
Not exactly my thing, but I'm rather good at it when I give it a go, if I do say so myself! Together, the six of us managed to disable the security systems leading to the ARK's core, where we could neutralize the energy of the Chaos Emeralds and stop the colony in its tracks! Very good fun!
It's good to hear you've managed to stop such a big threat. I... hope we manage to do the same back home. [She can't help but worry. Even if people told her that time stops back home while she's there, they were still facing a major crisis.]
Oh ho ho! Of course you will. You'll beat that villain into next Tuesday and learn a valuable lesson about friendship, love and teamwork along the way! It'll be wonderful.
[Eggman would know. It's how all Sonic's stupid adventures end.]
I thought you had a solution! Find all of your Pure Heart whatsits, march on down to the baddie's fortress and have an ultimate showdown, possibly involving a giant robot! Ba ha ha ha!

Even Bowser had more common sense than that...

Well, it would be quite nice if we could find a solution to all that mess. I certainly don't want universes disappearing and people fading forever.
