So I called my friend Laura at work to let her know that Melissa and I can't have dinner with her tomorrow night. She was devastated, obviously. During the conversation she mentions that she doesn't want to jinx it, but David Wells was five and a bit innings into a no hitter. I immediately berated her, of course, and told her she'd just jinxed him
