For some reason I find the idea of a comic in which superman is portrayed as a total meathead jock weightlifter all the time to be intensely hilarious.

Isn't that the basis of all superman comics? If you can't tell already I hate the premise of Superman, somebody who has phenomenal cosmic powers should either have the personality of a slab of beef. Or he should be a complete dick.
