I don't think pounds and pounds of rotting meat can be very good for them big foody corporations.
And bike riding... At first I was suprised more people started. But as long as people are starting to get off their asses, I'm happy. Factor in less assholes driving around, less risk of accidents, less environmental damage.. What's wrong with more people riding?

well, that can be easily explained with a bried look at economics. When they incorporated mandatory safety belt laws. The added security of speedbelts gave people a false sense of security, and they started driving faster. So the amount of deaths in automible accidents has decreased, but the number of accidents again, went up so they reached a precarious balance. What did increase, as a negative externality was the amount of pedestrians run over by cars. Really, all you're doing by bike riding, is putting yourself at a risk of getting run over. So....we change your satement to read like this instead 1. equal number of assholes driving around, since the people who are riding bikes were probably the safe drivers anyway. 2. Increased risk of accidents, since the number of assholes is the same. 3. And the enviromental damage is negligible. There would have to be a mass number of people riding bikes for it to be of any significant value.
