How does Spike get his eyeliner on straight? I am jealous. I can't get mine on straight using a mirror, and I'm a girl, which should confer some kind of increased natural talent. I dunno.

I know the real answer is that someone does it for the actor, but go with me here... it's baffling.

He can't see himself in the mirror, so he either uses his Vamp powers, or has Dru put it on for him. Since you probably don't have a vampire girlfriend, maybe you should try doing it without looking.

ROFL! Talk about love -- even Spike must take pause at letting Dru near his eyes with a pencil.

I think the "don't look" option sounds good. Maybe forcing fingers to do the work without resorting to a mirror will help. Plus, you could keep your eyes closed -- less impulse to flinch?
