So, I was going to post all day, but then I kinda just...didn't. Not that I did much else, either. Sure, I make to-do lists, but do I actually take care of them? Apparently not. I'm such a retard.

And today and, well, for the past few days, the homesickness has really been kicking in. ( cut because this got way too long )

Oh my God, I love this post. Seriously. And I'll tell you why (this is going to be a long comment - but don't complain because this was a long post!) That whole first paragraph (not the 2 lines, but the big one) is so me right now. I miss being around my family and friends and hate the drive home, and don't like my job, but I feel like I need to do it. I have a message from a pal from bowling this past year who I love talking to and hanging out with, but it's like now that I'm here, I don't feel like talking on the phone to anyone who isn't my parents or Erica. So weird. I also have to call people I used to bowl with to tell them I moved - yeah, I didn't even do that. I also still have to send a thank you card AND cash a check from my mom's friend that she sent when I first moved here ... TWO MONTHS AGO ( ... )

Aww, I love you lots. I forgot I never replied to this! I'm sorry things were the same for you then that they were for me. And I'm sorry this took me so long to reply. Just think, you don't have to be at this job forever!! You can quit...eventually. Maybe not when you want to, but soon enough.

Alcohol is bad. It makes you forget things.

I figured as much. About you and speeding. Yeah, Illinois drivers up in Door County generally drive slow. Because they suck. And are all either old or are like, "Hey, look at the cows!" or, "Look, a big open field!!" and stuff.

If I do become a famous singer, I will so totally employ all my friends that want to be employed. And you can pick what you want to do. :-)

**lots of big squishy hugs** you're not a shmuck and you can always talk about problems in your journal because *i* care and, for the most part, i read all your posts even when i don't comment on them. i'm sorry you feel so lonely, but just hang on for a few more weeks and then you'll get to go off to school and have a lot of fun. i can't say that you won't be homesick, but you will probably be very busy with new friends and stuff so it won't be as bad. plus, at least to me, being homesick when you're not at home is a lot better than being homesick when you are ( ... )

When you actually posted this, you made me feel better. So thanks for that. Sorry it took me so long to reply.

To answer your question, it was "All at Sea", and it was a bad copy, but I have a good one now, so it's all good.

Well, see, our two lane highways are all 55. The freeway band interstate and most of the 4 lane highways are 65, though. But I live in the 2 lanme highway area. :-(

Okay, I'll just let my singer dream sit where it is. And yes, you can totally come with me on tour and we can stalk Johnny boy. No question. :-)
