This is how it started: I was looking at the list under "You Know You're From Connecticut When..." and didn't even get half the jokes. Even less of them applied to me. Honestly, I had a bigger percentile with the NYC one (and I actually got all of those). So that got me thinking ( Read more... )

Very nice little list, I don't remember DOL, but other then that it's pretty good.

*You've listened to girls whine about how their parents won't pay for their gas or car repairs.
*You've listeded to kids with brand-new cars complain about the price of gas thier parents are buying.

Any guesses as to what has been bothering me about some of my peers lately...lol.

Gee...nah. ;)

And DOL was Daily Oral Language. 4th and 5th grade. I was actually kind of surprised that *I* remembered it. That's why it's the only one with a hint. Because there is no way that anyone but me would ever remember that off-hand, and I knew that. So...yeah.

And I need to stop rambling *now*
