OH MY GOD!!

I got to see The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!!!!!!

Me and Julie tried to get lottery tickets and we did!!!! For $25 we got FOURTH ROW CENTER ORCHESTRA! It was amazing!!!!!! And the Wilbur Theater is small as it is, so it was even more exciting! I saw a ton of UNH kids there too...I was like what's going on?!!?! Plus, I saw ( Read more... )

i saw it over thanksgiving break...wasnt it hysterical?

my mom and i (dont ask how!) had front row seats, so whenever william barfee gestured toward his mother in the audience, it was actually MY mother! there were points in the show where they were basically having a conversation, and it was hysterical! we saw him after the show in the lobby, and my mom threw her arms around him and told him how proud of her son she was. the whole thing was so funny!!

Hahahaha, yah! I was right near his "mother". The woman was so confused! He was hilarious!

i saw that same cast in san francisco! it was such a great show! the most fun i've had in a long time:) i love stanley!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me about this $25 lottery!! I'd really love to try to see the show before it closes, but I definitely can't afford the real tickets....

The show apparently closes December 31st. But with the lottery all you do is show up 2 hrs before the show and "put your name on a list". Then you're supposed to come back a 1/2 hr later and see if you got chosen for the lottery and you get up to 2 tickets for $25 each. We went i guess on a night where not many people did it so we just walked up to the box office at 5:30 and she gave us tickets. We were like, ok....cool! They always reserve good seats in the orchestra for this. Plus, they also have student rush tickets for $25 where you go an hour before the show and they give you whatever they have for $25. You just need a student ID. I did student rush once and got 7th row tickets. So, either way it's pretty awesome!!
