TV, Where Have You Been?

Y'all, now is a great time to be a TV fan.  Why?  Well, there are certainly some really good shows on the air (I highly recommend LOST, 24, and 30 Rock).  But more importantly, now it is possible to enjoy the greatness of serialized dramas and your favorite sitcoms sans commericals thanks to online streaming!  Well, okay, you have to sit through

heroes: i agree, sylar was at one point the most interesting character. it's like the writers cant decided between peter and syler so they settle on the boring gray zone. season one should probably stand alone.

30 rock: amazing. a show has never been so wonderfully tongue in cheek.

american idol: i think we're all in agreement that Adam lambert has the most amazing voice around. however i see him falling into second against someone like Kris who is more commercially relevant. poor lil, i surrender, kelly clarkson sang it her first season, it didnt sound good then either, its just a bad song.

i dont watch lost or 24. mainly because lost is just that. and 24 cause keifer never hit me quite right. southpark is a show that when television classes study it, will go down in history for being so topical and relevant and for all its crass and brassy banter its still got heart and a message, even if it is heavy handed at times.

Heroes: I agree! Sylar's still probably the best thing about Heroes, but I'm tired of his unmotivated changes in attitude.

American Idol: I also agree that Adam is too far outside of the mainstream to win something like American Idol. And "I Surrender" is a terrible song that embodies everything overblown and off-putting about that crazy French Canadian named Celine Dion.
