Because bureaucratic asses have corrupted the season from something akin to family centric to who's getting the better gift commercialism bullshit bent on lining the "fat cat"'s pockets and making life a general living hell on earth for those with less of the dollar signs. Holidays are no different than any other day, they've just been placed on their distinctive pedestals for a celebration of gluttony, avarice and whatever other things that you can throw on there.

I have my reasons for this. Other than those stated.

I see, that is a good reason. I must agree that most people think more about the material goods than the true meaning of Christmas these days.
