That is beautiful! Where did it originate? Wow, it just took my breath away.
Hi, btw, I'm Gia and I friended you since only 3 of us listed James Allen as an interest. Anyone who lists James Allen, the author, as an interest needs to be on my friend list. :o)
Oops, the link was supposed to go to the artist's gallery! :-)
*I updated it, so now if you click on it you'll see more of his work. (Who knows, maybe I'll ask him if I can use one of his images for a CD of my music!)
So, James Allen, only three of us?? That's too bad, his teachings have made a massive difference in my life! Throughout the years, people had told me about "As A Man Thinketh", but I only decided to pick it up about two years ago (wish I had sooner) :(
Thanks for the link, I've seem Bruce MacLeod's name somewhere, but it escapes me at the moment. That would be lovely to use one of his images for your music CD, a win win situation if you ask me.
I took a religious class about four years ago and As A Man Thinketh was on a list of inspired writings. I didn't read it right away. I think it was a year and a half before I did. It was so life changing for me. I'm very passionate and the realization that I control my emotions and thoughts was empowering. I bought a small version, about 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches that I keep with me at all times. If I ever need to focus on what's important, or need to pull myself out of a downward spiral I just open it. Whatever I read, I am always amazed and at peace.
I have not read, The Power of Now, but I have heard of Eckhart Tolle. I'll have read the Power of Now. Thanks for the recommendation. :o)

I have a small book that's a collection of his writings that I carry with me wherever I go, it's called The Wisdom of James Allen: Including As a Man Thinketh, The Path to Prosperity, The Mastery of Destiny, The Way of Peace, and Entering the Kingdom, no matter what page I open it to, it always rings true and keeps me focused in the right direction.
And you, what's your experience with his teachings? Have you also read, or heard of The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle? (very similar ideas)
