Well hello there Ms. Blackbird, what a pleasant surprise.
And you, and Mr. Pleroma, how are you two? doing well I hope! :-)
Abducted by UFOs, I don't think so, perhaps abducted by my biochemistry, work, and writing music. btw, I have a new web url for some of my music, a lot of silly, contrived cheese, but a few gems I hope: thegospelofgroove.com
Thanks for saying hello, and maybe I'll come out of my shell and say hello more often.
Long time no "see". :DgianfaredMay 25 2004, 08:18:08 UTC
*waves* I was becoming worried when I didn't see you around for so long and then couldn't access your music. I'm glad you're still around.
That poem is beautiful and haunting, no?
Here's another, in contrast, to remind us to live:
Summons ~Robert Francis
Keep me from going to sleep too soon Or if I go to sleep too soon come wake me up. Come any hour of night. Come whistling up the road. Stomp on the porch. Bang on the door. Make me get out of bed and come and let you in and light a light. Tell me the northern lights are on and make me look. Or tell me the clouds are doing something to the moon they never did before, and show me. See that I see. Talk to me till I'm half as wide awake as you and start to dress wondering why I ever went to bed at all. Tell me that walking is superb. Not only tell me but persuade me. You know I'm not too hard persuaded.

Wonderful and appropriate, thanks!!
"going to sleep", what a great metaphor for that insidious malaise that can slowly overtake you when one is not attentive or disciplined in tending the spirit!
Nice to hear from you again and thanks for the nice thoughts!

oh and thanks for mentioning the music, indeed I've been toiling away, though lately the muse has... taken a sabbatical? (always scares me a bit, it's at those moments that I start to wonder if the creative spark was all a fluke, but I know better) :-)

The Maestro is still alive!
...and here's us thinking you'd been abducted by a UFO.
How have you been Mister Music'nMuse?
