I have forgotten to use this device recently... it seems that my focus on keeping track of it is slipping. I'll correct this mistake by paying closer attention to the days as they pass, I'm not aiming to make the same error and be shocked because of it.

Doesn't leaving the chip in lead to potential problems, though?

Yes, but with the knowledge that the chip location may be found, people might be more anxious as of late. That anxiety might have influenced someone's actions and as a result, these two deaths occurred.

Though, I'm not aware of the entire situation surrounding the dead bodies.

[...!]

Do you know anything more about...the people who died?

I'm not aware of any specific details, just that one of the victims was a person named Cirno.

The body was found in the lake.

The dead...really do return, do they?

Yes, unless the person that was killed was a scientist.

They don't come back?

In the most recent case, a scientist was dismembered and she didn't come back.

I heard about some of that...so the scientists don't come back if they die, huh. I wonder why that is. It just seems peculiar, that they would waste their resources reviving us but they cannot save themselves...

I have stopped trying to figure out the reasoning behind the scientists' actions.

That's a good idea. Thinking about it too much could probably drive someone insane.

There are more important goals to focus on.
