two things:

1. V-cards! I have a V card. It stands for Vassar card and it lets me into buildings, gives me food, and pays for laundry and books. Handy dandy things. I suspect yours is slightly different. ;)

2. Don't underestimate or under-appreciate Clasquin. In retrospect, she was the only English teacher who actually asked me to do work for her and not bullshit my way through her class. She wants her students to learn and to do damn well, not to coast by on mediocre work. Is she psychotic? Maybe. Okay, yes. Is she tough? Yes, unless she loves you for bizarre reasons beyond comprehension, but she's usually still tough.

Try to get a lot out of her class- she's underrated and I should have given her more credit when I had her. Other people feel similarly, too.

She most certainly does make us work. More than we're used to, most certainly.

I don't think they know yet. Or if they do, we don't. Perhaps they'll have Katie do all the shows?

See, here's the thing about Clasquin: most people who had her in senior year loved her. A lot of people who had her in junior year, though, had mixed feelings. I know Lynn didn't like her, she made me cry at times, and for some unknown reason she was pretty much in love with Desi Sweet. She said some pretty odd things that made us all laugh afterwards though: "ladies, how do we become men?" and "ladies, you need to get this duck in order. If you get this duck in order, this project will be a piece of cake. If you do not get this duck in order, than you will flounder" are two quotes that immediately come to mind.
