Ahhh Sunday. Quite possibly the best day in Deutschland. EVERYTHING is closed on Sunday. The city literally becomes a ghost town. And I love it. Where as one might feel tempted to run errands and get things done on Sunday, here, that's not an option. You are forced to do absolutely NOTHING on Sundays. Well, around here, it's Saturday that is reserved for nothing . . . other than the 12+ hour football madness, of course!! :-)

Apparently they had the ISM dinner at Union League this year. Alas. I never got to go there once during my New Haven years . . .
