Well the news has pretty much been spilt but I thought it would be good to make it official on LJ. I'm pregnant! Derek and I found out on December 13th and we were absolutely surprised! (shocked really.) I haven't been to the Dr. yet (especially since I don't have one and I live in a foreign country!) but the babycenter.com due date calculator says

Nah, I really can't stand the though of having a German's hands anywhere near my woo. I'm moving back to the US in April and Derek will come back in June. It's been a tough year so we'll be glad to get back.
How are things in NY? We miss you!

nyc is great. i love the town and being here. just dealing with the anxiety of the job hunt. today a temp assignment that was supposed to last for 2 more weeks got axed because i was too productive...i did what they'd budgeted a month to accomplish in two weeks, and so instead i lose my assignment. fuckers. but still, i wouldn't trade living here for anything....yet.
congrats again. hopefully we can see each other sometime when you're back stateside.
