Oh how I wish I were at home. I got about 4 hours of sleep last night. After some poor food choices (leftover Chinese for lunch, pizza for dinner, and fries for a late night snack) my body decided to revolt against me. This week has been so long! I've been training Natasha which has been going well. I'm a bit surprised at how little she knows about computers. She's used to using a Mac so that explains a little bit of it but even simple things that are the same from system to system (like changing the font color in Word) she was unsure about. Well we're home. Yesterday was a long day. Luckily it was a much better travel day then when I left. I made both of my flights and the day was fairly painless. Just long. OMG> Lat night was so great. We had a short Haydn rehearsal in 198. We were going through the Sanctus and all of a sudden Helmuth asked me to sing my little three measure solo that I had in that movement. I have no idea why. There was really no reason for it. Just finished singing for Helmuth. He said that I had a lovely Soprano voice (actually he said that I have a lovely Soprano woice). YEA! I was pretty happy with how it went. Things that are irritating me right now:

1) the woman out side our window who has been laughing for the past 15 minutes. It's this cackling laugh that draws me closer to cutting myself every time she laughs. And it never stops. It's as though someone has recorder this laugh and has it on a 2 second loop.

Nothing beets pdateing LJ drunk.

Patron dinner tonight. It was really, REALLY boring. Food was bad (they need a lesson from the Lawn Club). After wards we all headed to Phil's for a littler drinking and what turned out to be skinny dipping. It was fun. Nothing beats sitting in a hot tub in nothing but  a lacey thong.

OBF is still positively wonderful. We are currently working on B minor mass. I've gotten most of the Second sop. part under my belt which is helping to make it much more enjoyable. Stupid Second Soprano part in the B minor Mass. I hate it! Actually it's ok. I'm just mad that I have to re-learn one of my all-time favorite pieces. I mean, I could sing the B minor from memory.
