I'm glad to have found someone else who remembers this book! I'm trying to remember what freaked me out so much about it originally and I think I remember in particular the drawings in the version I have pictured above were kind of disturbing to my younger sensibilities. I'm going to try and see if I can find a copy of it when I go to the library today. (btw, how are you enjoying OCAD?)
I'm sorry we missed you at Sinead! We didn't enjoy ourselves as much because we could barely see from where we were seated and we seemed to be surrounded by jerks (there was a guy in front of us playing games on his blackberry for f's sake!), but Sinead was great herself-- her voice is just as powerful as it had ever been. Where were you seated? We were at the very back row of the gallery to the right of the stage
