"Hope I" - Gustav Klimt (1903)
Ever since my last trip to Ottawa I have been haunted by the memory of a painting I saw while I was at the National Gallery by Gustav Klimt. Jason and I were walking through the gallery's 20th century art collection and as we wandering I suddenly found myself alone facing this massive piece by Klimt that was narrow but tall enough to tower over me ( Read more... ) -
Jim Gaffigan
I was watching the Comedy Network last night when a comedy special starring Jim Gaffigan came on-- I almost didn't recognize who he was until I started to clue in that I used to really enjoy seeing him in random comedy shows and movies. I really enjoyed his special last night. Here's a clip:

Spring Is Here
Jason and I went to High Park today to see if we could catch the cherry blossoms in bloom. We apparently got there too early but it was a beautiful day nonetheless. I have posted some of the photos here. -
final class
Tonight I have my final night school class to attend and I have an assignment due. I'll be honest, my brain shut down last Monday when I had my last Illustration class. I didn't attend any other classes last week and I kind of don't want to go tonight either. But I will and I know I will just feel so awesome and free once it is over. I really ( Read more... )
