BTW - Played with the pulleys- The tensioner / idle pulley is very "shambly." Rotating it causes a loud, rough grinding sound. It plays back and forth. Gee, just like your pictures.

Any help will be appreciated. Apparently, I'm only a few blocks away from you. I will fight with my last auto repair place for a replacement belt, if they can't find the packaging from the belt I bought and replace it through Checker parts.

How much is a tensioner pulley?

Turns out I might be able to get this fixed by the original shop that worked on it Monday, but I need to find a way to get it back from Minneapolis to Mounds View.

Know any cheap towers?
