THE USUALS
Describe good qualities or strengths in your personality: well i think i'm very accepting and open-minded to most things, especially music and religion (even though i'm not religious). i don't care what music people listen to and i don't believe that anyone has the right to say what music is shit and what's not, which i think is a good view to have personally - that all music is potentially good music and that no music is bad so long as it makes someone happy. i'm willing to try new things. i'll always make time to listen to someone's problems if they want me to and similarly even if listen to what someone has to say and let them finish speaking before stating my opinion, and i take what people say into consideration even if i don't agree with it. i'm not afraid to voice my opinions and back them up. i think i have a creative mind and i'm passionate about the arts whether it's visual arts, writing, music, etc. i can put things in perspective and think about what is really important. i'm awfully sassy, which can be viewed as a strength or a weakness but like to me it's a good thing. i've got no issue telling teachers off, "talking back" to them, standing up for myself and yknow, all those things. if i've got a problem with something they've said or i feel that they're not treating me or someone else right i'll tell them about it the moment it happens and i won't back down. i guess this doesn't even just apply to teachers, it also applies to everyone who is like supposed to be my "superior", yknow? i don't take shit from anyone, i don't care who they are.
How about bad traits or weaknesses? well i'm impulsive i think and it's not always a good thing and can get me into sticky situations. the last thing i talked about in the previous question can also be a bit of a weakness or bad trait at times but eh, usually it isn't, not to me anyway. maybe sometimes i can be a bit rude about some things and too blunt. i can get addicted to things easily. not necessarily things that are really bad or anything, but it's a weakness! like i'll eat a certain type of food or something and then i'll have it almost everyday for the next month or so. at the moment i'm addicted to diet coke haha. i don't really know if this is much of an issue and what its extent will be in the future but i think i have slight commitment issues, i never finish any of the books i plan to read! yeah but that's probably not that big a deal but perhaps it's a look into my future, who knows?
What are your musical talents? well i play guitar! i can play drums and keyboard as well but only moderately. i'm eager to learn other instruments and i rather like music theory and stuff, that's something i'm real keen on.
And what other talents do you have? Are you an amateur-photographer, astrophysicist, or a brilliant cook? Go on, brag as much as you like! i don't really know that i have many talents. art is a big thing in my life and i've done it since i can remember and people tell me i'm talented at it so let's just say that i am. i like photography and have done for a while, since i was 9 i think and uh it's not just a phase i don't think. i can whistle.
And what makes you happy? MUSIC! so many people say that but uh it's true? music is amazing. other things that make me happy...my cat, tug! fashion, money (no shame! but i don't need money to be happy), kindness, spending time with friends, the wii, liverpool fc.

THE HARD ONES
Think of a book or a movie you identify with or that you feel describes you somehow. Feel free to go into detail: quadrophenia! that's always the first film to come to mind if i'm asked something like this and i really can't think of anything else because quadrophenia just sticks out so much. i'm a teenager, i'm a youth! quadrophenia deals with yknow teenage themes and emotions and ideas and all that. quadrophenia's kinda like, apart of my life really because all the emotions jimmy felt throughout that film i've felt as well. that film stands for youth. i'm repeating myself i think. some of my friends call me 'queen of the mods' as well so uh yknow there's the whole mod thing. yeah so um QUADROPHENIA.
What color or colors would you use to describe your personality to others? no clue, i can't think of anything really. let me try umm. well okay blue and red and yellow come to mind but i've got no idea why! i wouldn't try to explain my personality in colours though because colours can be interpreted with many different meanings.
About your social life: do you have many friends or just a few very close ones? Do you like parties, or prefer a quiet evening at home? Fall in love quickly or hardly ever at all? Tell us what you like: yeah i dunno, i've got several online friends who i'm close to and who i love and who i really connect with. offline, i've not had any really good friends since primary school. i started high school and it ruined me a bit. no one had the same sense of humour as me, no one liked the same things i did, and most people already knew each other but i was the only one from my primary school to move to this particular high school and i knew nobody! i managed to make some 'good friends' eventually but they weren't people i could tell my problems to or people i connected with at all. my four really close friends from primary school i'm still close with, though, and i love them. i have a lot of 'friends' i guess but like i said i don't really connect with any, but i've moved to a new school and that's starting to change a bit! i don't think i've really be in love with anything besides music, and i'm guessing it's not sort of like the same thing as falling in love with a person is. i don't get crushes often.
Do you crave recognition and fame, or do you prefer to work behind the scenes? uh well i'd kinda like both? for some reason i figure i'll be mildly famous in the future but i don't know why i figure that, i guess it's something most people assume without having any idea of how they're gonna get there. i don't know what i even want to do.
What causes, if any, are important to you (animal rights, fighting poverty etc)? well yknow, animal rights and fighting poverty are both things i do care about but i'm not wildly passionate about them. i donate money and stuff to those sort of causes but i guess i don't really do much else beside that. the only thing i can think of is that like, creative arts in school. there's been a lot of talk recently, at least in australia, about pulling creative arts out of the curriculum or shortening the amount of hours schools can teach it for and that sort of stuff and i'm VERY opposed to that.

What kind of music do you usually listen to? (Bear in mind that artists often listen to all kinds of music and not only music similar to their own) oh um all sorts kind of. well not all sorts, it's more that i'll listen to whatever people throw at me but i don't always enjoy it. my favourite band is the who, and i love pete townshend's solo work as well. i also love paul weller in his various incarnations (the jam, the style council and his solo work is wonderful). i like a lot of music from the past but i LOVE a lot of the music that's going on now and i'm very excited about it. um my last.fm is rebelrebel__ if you wanna see what i listen to. the only other thing that i can really say is that i fucking hate the beach boys. i'd say 'sorry if you like them' BUT I'M NOT SORRY AT ALL.
What qualities do you admire in other people? well i guess sort of like the things i talked about in the question that asked me about my strengths and good qualities. cos i think those are good things that i have and i think they're good traits for anyone to have. let's see um. optimism, intelligence (not like getting all your exams perfect or anything, not book smartness, but like...idk i think you guys know what i mean?), open-minds, respectfulness, compassion. i like considerate people, selflessness. yknow i guess the usual. i like ballsy people as well i suppose. OH musicalness. not as in "omg guys who play guitar are soOOo hot" but like, i appreciate people who enjoy music in the same way i do and if music means more to someone then just being something to dance to.

IF I WAS A RICH MAN
So you're a huge superstar now. Would you prefer to be in a band or do you fly solo? well maybe a band, but i'd probably go into solo work if i felt idk restricted creatively, which can often happen in bands yknow. there's a lot more room to wiggle when you're a solo artist.

Do you like flamboyant performing costumes and big shows, or is music the main thing? well i don't think anything ever detracts from the music and of course music is the big thing at a concert, but it depends on the artist. and if costumes and props and whatnot manage to distract the people at the show from the actual music then the band or artist hasn't done a very good job. it doesn't matter so long as you put on a good show and people enjoy themselves and the music.
