as you probably know, i went to forgive durden's show on 9/13.
amazing? definitely.

the forgive durden concert was amazinggggg.
so i'll break it down. =)
helen & i came around twenty minutes before the show was supposed to start. i asked helen to come with me to look for durden, 'cause they coulda been hanging around somewhere. haha. but it was a pretty ghetto, run-down area, so we couldn't go too far...
we waited for a long while kinda until this guy & girl came up. i talked with them a bit & found out that they came to see envy on the coast (the other band that was playing). uh, i took a picture of helen in front of the durden van. yup. helen wanted to write down their license plate number... STALKER.
so helen & i went back to the door a while later, & all of a sudden, helen was like, "TI... TI... LOOK BEHIND YOU...", & i thought it was just more fans coming, but
OMFG.
thomas dutton (why, yes. we are getting married) walks up to the door of the bar, & helen yells, "THOMAS!" & he turns around. at this point, i'm like, "SH-T. WTF DO I SAY?" but "hey, what's up?" came out, instead. haha. & we talked a bit, & he shook my hand. that boy has the softest man hands i've ever felt in my entire life. & my GODDDD. don't even get me started on his legs. he's much, much skinnier than i thought. like. wow. his legs remind me of william beckett's legs. not kidding. i personally think that thomas is the most gorgeous man everrrrr. helen thinks he's "alright-looking," but his singing/songwriting/guitarist SKEELZ make him absolutely beautiful. but omfggg. i felt so stupid, 'cause the first thing i blurted out after i told him my name was "I'M IN YOUR LIVEJOURNAL COMMUNITY!" he was like, "oh, really?" yeahhh. I AM SO STUPID. but whatevssss... asd;fkljsd;lfkj.
but yeah. back to what i was saying. so thomas was like, "well, we gotta go do soundcheck," so i said i'd come in & watch. it was hilarious, 'cause big t (their lead guitarist) was playing his guitar with a beer bottle. yeah. hahaha. he was drinking before the show even started. then the bartender told everyone in the audience (the EIGHT of us... hahaha!) to go outside to wait. so we did. & THEN JESSE CAME BY THE DOOR. so i was like, "jesse!", & he looked at me & waved. hahaha. it was so cute. he was in touching distance.
durden was still doing soundcheck when we were outside, & they performed "ear to ear" as part of their soundcheck. i was staring through the door the entire time.
so then the bartender man opened up again, & we went inside. helen & i took the front table, so we could be as close to the stage as possible. envy on the coast took from eight to nine almost to do their soundcheck & rehearsal. that was the time that the show was supposed to take place... so the whole schedule was altered. i wouldn't have minded, but i did, only 'cause the parents did. jesse was on my farrrr right, sewing his backpack(?). helen was staring of course. haha. but thomas was in the back corner on the computer, & yessss, i stole many, many glances. i didn't wanna stare, 'cause then... yeah. you know. jesse, big t, & andy passed RIGHT by our table a couple times, but we were too shy to say anything. =X
i can't remember if it was during soundcheck or not when big t randomly sings, "I NEED OXYGENNN!" & "OHHH, BABYYYY." hahaha. & i also can't remember when thomas was playing the drums. oh well, whenever it was, it was sexyyyyy.
envy on the coast performed first. i thought they were pretty good at times, but then there were other times where i felt like yawning. literally. but, of course, i held it in. maybe 'cause it was just so "late." OH. dude. so big t & andy were sitting to my right. it was awesome. & then thomas joined them. :] one of the guys from envy was like, "THOMASSSS... JESSEEEE..." in the middle of their set. hahaha. there was this one song where they didn't know how to play ('cause i guess they had different versions?), & one of the envy fans were like, "not enough rehearsal?!" or something like that. & the singer from envy said, "hey, we're doing fucking good for five minutes rehearsal!" (not in a mean way). haha.
so when envy finished, they had to clean up their set & stuff. durden was helping them out, & one of the guys from envy slapped thomas on the butt. hahahaha. & did i mention that there were boxers galore? yeah.

after they were done, thomas said, "we're forgive durden, & the band that played before us was pussies on the coast." LMFAO. a rap song came on, & OMFGGG. hahahaha. big t started "dancing" & played the keyboard to it. it was hilarious. & he pretended to be all hardcore screamo & everything.
then andy (durden's drummer) left the stage & went to the bar to order a drink & have a smoke. he was literally in touching distance from our table. helen & i were debatingon taking a picture with him, 'cause we were SO shy/nervous. we kept looking at him, & he kept looking at us, probably because we were pretty much staring at him. haha.
jesse & big t stayed on stage, & i think two(?) of envy's guys went on stage with them, & they just started playing random music. thomas decided to "conduct" them, & he was telling all of them to stop playing. the singer from envy (who was on drums) kept playing, just to spite him. hahaha. & then everyone else kept playing, too. & yeah. hahaha. it was funny. but they finally listened, & thomas conducted, like, this bass/drum/guitar kinda deal, & it was pretty awesome.
helen gathered courage before i did & got up & walked towards andy, so i followed her. we asked for a picture, & he was like, "sorry, i'm kinda sweaty," & i was like, "that's okay!" haha. after, he signed my "wonderland" cd, so that was cool. i asked him if he liked small shows like this, & he said they were cool & stuff. he was SO shy! it was soo cuteeee. hahaha. andy is definitely the most adorable guy in the band.
& then yeah. thomasssss. i was extremely nervous & didn't really wanna ask him for a picture, 'cause yeahhh. i'm basically in love with that boy. haha. but i sucked it up. he was behind the merch table. so i went up to him, & he was like, "hey, what's up?" (i think... i can't remember now... i was way too sdl;kfjdkf inside.), so i was like, "can i have a picture?", so he came out behind the table & put his arm around me for a picture. =) <3 & i had him sign my album booklet, too. helen saw that he was left-handed & was like, "i learned that left-handed people make more money than right-handed people." HAHAHA. & helen said he said, "WHOO! YEAH!" or something like that. i think i was busy watching the guys from envy playing pool next to us.
jesse was next. :] he was by the stage, putting up equipment, i think? i called, "JESSE!" (again), & again, took a picture & had him sign my booklet. when i took helen's picture with him, i forgot to wind the button on my camera, so jesse was all, "wind it, hunnaaaay!" all ghetto-like. hahaha. he's so adorable. he had his arm around me, too. booyaaa.
& last, but not least, was big t (his real name is thomas, but big t is his nickname). he was now at the bar next to andy, so we went back there. i didn't know whether to call him thomas or big t, so i was just like, "hey!" haha. i felt stupid. that boy is SO tall. & i told him that, too. haha. oops. =X & he was wearing cotton pants. hahaha. that was cute. he was like, "wow... that was bright" after we took the picture (again, arm around me =)). haha. & yeahhh. he signed my booklet, too.
then my dad called & said that we hadhadhad to go. =( i was SO sadddd. i wanted to stay until they left, but it was eleven already. we were the first to leave, i think. sucked.
but ahhhhhhhh... durden took my concert virginity. & i wouldn't have it any other wayyyyy, as cheesy as that sounds. =) <333
