I recently came upon a video with Kate Moss being projected as a hologram at some technology event. Now that's fucking awesome that we can do that, but the music they picked for this? hey whats up. I would just like to say that I understand why you think its disrespectful, but you are also comparing a ring tone to fine art. McQueen is known for juxtaposing two elements to elicit a response from viewers, and the context of the song with the visual, and also who the model is and who the designer is must be taken into consideration. Sorry if I am getting to defensive about fashion, I just know as a designer, we can be easily labeled as shallow comercial whores who just make pointless ephemera. Well I am sure there are some out there, but there are certainly those who want something more. I am not saying that McQueens choice of song was the best choice for his vision, but there was thought put into it. At anyrate, he did elicit a response from you, and I hope if makes you think more about fashion, and design in general ( ... )

Nah, I'm not offended by what you've said. It's not that much of an issue, the video didn't offend me, but from a musician's standpoint, I think the choice of music was in bad taste. I'm not saying he shouldn't be allowed to do that, though, as the cliche goes, it's a free country.
