*sigh* Humanity will never cease to disgust me. It amazes me just how uneducated we can be and how little we understand about each other, even more so is how little we care to understand one another. What am I talking about? I'm talking about the Danish cartoons that were printed about the Prophet Muhammed

Alright, I agree with most of what you said, but I will never say that the Danish cartoon was wrong. Everybody and I mean EVERYBODY gets poked fun at. There are people out there who do that without exception (Carlos Mencio). We don't throw fits when there's something making fun of us. The Muslims are asking for special treatment here and that is unexceptable. I've seen the cartoons, I find them humorous. I understand that the Muslims are pissed but frankly I don't give a shit. What happens when we don't laugh? What happens when life is too serious to laugh? People need to laugh, a sense of humor is paramount. I'm not being hypocritical, I expect everyone to be made fun of. Special treatment is for special ed kids. Just my opinion.

P.S. The new Shinedown cd is sweet.

I agree with what you say man, but there's a difference between poking fun and completely misrepresenting a culture. It really does worry me how little people seem to understand the Islamic religion and in turn people of the Middle East. In the current climate of the world, things like that in my opinion are only going to promote more ignorance and a further misrepresentation of Muslims, however I will say that I don't know what the conditions in Denmark are like, people there may have a better understanding of Muslims there so the implications may have been much more light-hearted, that is a point that I didn't take into account before. Here in America though, I'm constantly surprised at how many people I find that honestly believe Muslims enjoy killing people, enjoy blowing things up and causing destruction etc
