I recently read something one of my friends wrote about miracles. She basically stated that there was no need to pray for miracles. I hate to say it, but I agreed. I knew exactly what she meant. I mean, I hear prayer request all the time at church, am I supposed to believe God answers every single request? I know for a fact that doesn't happen. If

Can't say i haven't been dealing with that exact thing for two and a half years now. Our view of miracles(as mere humans) is awfully small and short sighted. The blessings that my family has received from other people and the way in which this journey has grown me up has been a miracle in itself. Healing is just one type of miracle. I think a "miracle" is simply a great movement of God which we happen to notice more than others. Thus, praying for a miracle is never a bad thing, but is it up to us to determine the very direction of that movement of God? I personally think not.

But that is a really good lyric. You could do a whole sermon on that.
