Is it because It's all dark and seems to be spreading in odd formations like wild fire? Personally I think that only makes it more beautiful.

To me it seems like cancer because man is growing and spreading so fast with no thought to maintaining our world and while we can become very powerful everything being developed now is just to please consumers, and very little is developed to bettering our world.
