violin lesson today was good... she didn't yell at me, so that's always a plus. yeah, mrs. stiner has issues... some in good ways, others in less desirable manners. one time i was at her house for a lesson. I hadn't practiced that whole week and it was pretty obvious... she kicked me out of her house with like 20 minutes left to go. she was pissed

Do what I do - start crying. She'll stop yelling. Guaranteed. (Well, I wasn't crying because of her, I was crying because I was having trouble with a piece and George, or whatever his name is, started playing it really well just to mock me. But still, she knows that I'm sensitive to stuff, so she doesn't really give me a hard time.)
