Today is the day of Dave's knee surgery. His mom came to pick him up and bring him to the building for preliminary stuff (because I'm supposed to be at an important meeting at work and need to go drop stuff off at the hospital before I join Dave at 9:30), and when he went downstairs he found that his car and a neighbors were both broken into. I'm going to try something I hardly do--- being positive in LJ. Most of the time I only make time to write when things are irritating me. So today I am going to list some good things.

I'm embarassed to admit it, but Dave and I are intermittantly watching the debates. No debate will change my vote, becasue this is  a strongly polar election, and I stand much closer to one end than the other. What a random day. I feel so "off", today. I havent' gotten anything useful done, and I don't feel better from getting more sleep. Now it's 9:42 at night, and I don't know what to start doing with my time. Go to bed early? Clean? Homework? Planning and scheduling ( Read more... )

I was going to write about my poor experience at clinicals this morning, but I"m too frustrated to even explain it all the way. Basically....

1. my preceptor made rude comments about a patient right outside her room
2. I was sent in to start the visit. The girl had an attitude in general, but was "nice" to me and smiled at me a lot

I am SO sick right now. You know how sometimes you wake up and suddenly you're in a full blown state of illness? Well, instead of waking up that way, I progressed through ti while I worked last night. I started the night feeling fine- good actually, other than being at work instead of home lol.
