As a few of you know, after 7 1/2 years Jonathan and I broke up for good. We are trying the friends thing because no immediate feelings have been hurt.  At least on my end I still care about him, it just wasn't happening anymore. In the cold, cold north. Looking forward to a few weeks of family visiting, friend visiting, practicing, reading, cooking, and..... yes snow.

You know what amazes me the most right now about coming home? How MUCH everyone has changed in the past couple months I've been gone. I think I see a lot more than everyone who has stayed in NY because Im expecting to come home to the same home- but its not. I have tonsilitis for the THIRD FREAKIN' TIME in SIX WEEEKS. You know what that means for a wind player? I haven't been able to practice very much. My amazing new dinner dish:

Brown Rice cooked in low-sodium Chicken Broth instead of water
Assorted Veggies and Cashews cooked and then topped slightly with olive oil

Mix and enjoy!
