We did in the summer. After almost two months though we got back together due to a lot of things changing for the positive...like I quit working at the same place as him, which alleviated a lot of taking me for granted/treating me like poo...the fighting went away...

Now my problem is bc he is rather very attractive, women don't care that he is taken. So they go after him even if I'm there. Blah, whatever.

It's difficult trying to pull from the bucket of "I have enough confidence in myself to not worry about anything" when that bucket has a huge hole in the bottom..
