is 25 the new 35?

Like every year, this birthday makes me think about the year gone by. But this time around the "big" step from 25 to 26 makes me think about more than just the last year. It makes think about what I have accomplished so far and where I am headed in this new chapter of my life

Happy Birthday!Yes, take your time to enjoy every year as it passes by, leaving you with more in your bag. I can't wait to hit 30 now, to note in what other significant ways I would have changed, to look back once again at 21 and laugh it out, to stand still for a moment and turn back on the road that one's supposed to be running on and watch the milestones crossed, no matter how small and few they maybe.

And maybe where we come from also influences our not being able to relish the present in anticipation of the possession of the future.
