Joe and I were invited to go to the Ren Fest with Kia & Zach yesterday. Kia really wanted to go yesterday because she has been taking belly dancing classes all summer and they had classes and a competition yesterday. She thought I might have fun joining her

the Bristol Renaissance Faire near Milwaukee never even opened yesterday b/c of flooding.

Ying Zhang came to do a concert during school when I was at the ArtsCenter. The concert was really amazing and with the aud. full of kids you could have heard a pin drop. They were just awestruck.

I know, he played a little for us. I was thinking it might be really cool to have him perform for my students. I just now have to work on my breathing - the instrument takes a lot of breath control.

I was just playing (er, attempting to play) a recorder for Zaria this morning. She thought it was great. It'd be fun to hear you play a new instrument!

I was thinking about how crazy it was -- our friends Jim and Nyree work there (Royal Navy and Fencing Booth) so Ny told me all about it this morning at work. Geez!
