Oh boy. Zealots like her are the ones that make it so difficult for the rest of us Christians to live in this world.
It reminds me of the time my best friend called me up crying one day because she was going through a difficult breakup with her boyfriend of two years AND had just lost her job. I could tell she was slipping into a depression and I told her to pray for guidance. She called me up again two days later and was even more distraught. It seems that her mother, who had just (supposedly) found her way back to God after straying away for many years, told my friend that God would listen to her prayers because she wasn't attending church anymore, therefore she wasn't really a Christian. Can you believe that? She told her own daughter that! I love my friend's mom but that made me sooo angry that she would tell her such a lie just to get her to go to church with her. It took me almost two hours on the phone trying to get my friend to calm down and to convince her that God listens to anyone who seeks him out
