Life. From someone who's been there and done that.

For someone who is only 16, you are taking life much too seriously. You need to stop and enjoy the moment; if you don't, life is going to pass you by, and I PROMISE that you will regret not making the most of your youth. High School is bullshit. But harping on how much bullshit it is, is even worse. Everything isn't a huge, serious drama. The more you make of the little things, the worse your situation will be. You think college will get so much better.........the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Most importantly, once you finally learn to accept people for who they are, they will accept YOU for who YOU are. Live and learn, life is too short for anything else.

Thanks... But honestly, im not just 'starting to take life seriously' now... i have my entire life, and it's not something i can really control, unfortunatly... i do enjoy the moment... and i hope that i don't make everything a huge drama. anyway... thank you very much for the advice... i agree with what you're saying, i just don't really think that it applies to me... maybe it does and im just not seeing it.

It does apply to you. All of it. That's not a bad thing either. I know you better than you think I do.... But it's obvious from your entries that you make everything dramatic. You shut people out before they can even get a chance to know you. That is NOT living for the moment. You are a beautiful person. Don't try to grow up too fast. Get to know everyone you can; it will only enrich your own character. Finally, girlfriends are important. HS is waaaay to early to be devoting yourself to ANY boy. You will wake up one day and regret it. I can PROMISE you that. I wouldn't tell you things that I don't think apply to you.

Different things are important to different people... a huge thing that is important to me, is people being true to who they are, and if they aren't, that upsets me. I do have friends outside of school. Maybe some that you don't know about, maybe some that you do... I don't shut people out, until they shut me out... even after that, i still try to get them to open up, or vice versa. Girlfriends are important, i agree. i have them... i have friends who are pure of heart, and beautiful, and not fake. People who understand that the true beauty in life, and in people does not lay in clothes, make up, or hairstyle... or even body weight and physical appearance.... it lies in the spiritual being... the way a person reacts to situations, the way they feel, and the way they think... a lot of times, the last part doesn't even apply to a lot of people that are my age, because a lot of the time, they don't think for themselves. they get stuck following the crowd, and then they get lost
