After their second kiss at the table - which got a little rough and Kurt had nearly fallen over backwards in his chair - he and Blaine had moved to one of the sofas in the lounge. It wasn’t exactly a bad idea, but it wasn’t getting them any closer to real rehearsal for Regionals, either.
After months of wanting this, being with Blaine, kissing Blaine, Kurt hadn’t imagined how amazing it really would feel to have Blaine’s hands on him, in his hair, and wrapping around him to pull him closer like he needed Kurt to survive. Kurt broke their kiss for a moment to take a labored breath against Blaine’s cheek. That was when Blaine started kissing at his jaw and then down the side of his neck before sucking gently at the spot where Kurt’s neck met his shoulder.
“Oh my god,” he said, a noticeable roughness to his voice that wasn’t there a few minutes ago. "Don’t stop doing that."
Kurt leaned back into the sofa, tugging on Blaine’s tie to bring him down with him as he slowly started to rub his thigh between Blaine’s legs. Blaine groaned as Kurt rubbed against his slowly hardening erection. Kurt was getting hard, too. He continued rubbing against Blaine’s cock and Blaine rocked his hips to get more friction. He sought out Kurt’s mouth again, kissing him rougher than before, this time biting at his bottom lip before pulling away again to go back to that spot on Kurt’s neck.
Their already heavy breathing got heavier as Kurt tilted his head away to allow access. The way Blaine was sucking on his neck would surely result in a hickey, but he didn’t care. He didn’t want Blaine to stop anytime soon. Kurt never would've thought this would be happening right now, especially after the week prior to this, but those pamphlets were very informative. As he read them, he couldn’t help but imagine doing each of the outlined activities with Blaine. It'd sparked something in him. Now that Blaine had confessed his feelings, there were so many thoughts and desires swimming through Kurt's mind; he didn’t know where to begin.
He rubbed his leg a little harder against Blaine, prompting Blaine to moan and tease Kurt’s neck with a gentle bite, which, in turn, made Kurt buck his hips and moan. “Biting, really?” Blaine asked, his voice a little surprised. He kissed Kurt again, pressing his weight against him, which made Kurt’s head spin a little.
When Blaine pulled away, breaking the kiss, Kurt pulled him back using his tie as leverage. “Where are you going?”
“I just thought we should take a break. I don’t want to push you.” Blaine said, trying to catch his breath.
“But, I like how you’re pushing me,” Kurt replied, moving his thigh across Blaine’s cock again for emphasis. Instantly, Blaine's lips were on his again. Bringing his hand up to cup Kurt’s face, he deepened the kiss.
“Hey, Blaine? Kurt? We have some formal business,” Wes began as he entered the room. “We’d like to know…oh,” he said, stopping abruptly.
Kurt and Blaine were both frozen in place on the sofa. He could hear Blaine's heavy panting ringing in his ear. Kurt, on the other hand, had stopped breathing entirely. After a moment of complete silence, he and Blaine scrambled to sit up. Blaine covered his face with one hand in embarrassment, the other resting in his lap to hide his hard-on. Still catching his breath, Kurt crossed his legs and chanced a look at Wes, who was standing next to Thad.
“You mock us, sir, yet again.” Thad said, which Kurt had noticed over the months was his favorite phrase. “Blaine, we were led to believe that you were to be rehearsing your song for Regionals.”
Kurt was beyond red at this point and Blaine was stammering in attempt to speak. When he finally did, his voice was rough. “We - we were going to rehearse. I just…”
“We just…got temporarily distracted,” Kurt said, taking over for Blaine, who looked even more mortified than he felt right now.
Kurt was surprised when Wes smiled. Ever the professional, he continued with his business. “We need to know what song you have chosen for your duet. We remind you that we do have veto power on the matter if the song you’ve chosen is not suitable.” Wes’s smile turned into a smirk, and then he laughed softly. “I’d also like to thank you. I just won the pool for when you two would finally get together.”
Thad laughed. Kurt just stared at them a little stunned. Blaine had finally regained his composure. “We’re going to sing ‘Candles’ by Hey Monday,” Blaine answered. Just hearing the title of the song again sent Kurt's mind wandering back to the conversation which had preceded this make out session with Blaine.
“Kurt.” Wes was trying to get his attention. "Kurt?"
“Oh, sorry,” Kurt replied, biting his lip to hold back a laugh. “What were you saying?”
“I said that your song selection is amenable to the council and we’ll be recording it in the Official Minutes even though this is not a formal meeting.”
“We will be having a full rehearsal tomorrow," Thad, added, taking over. "We’ll trust that the two of you will have had at least a preliminary rehearsal of the duet before then.”
“We’ll see you tomorrow,” Wes said, still smiling at them as he turned on his heels. Thad followed behind, leaving the two of them alone again.
Kurt sat there a minute processing. “Did that just happen? Did we seriously just get caught fooling around when we’re supposed to be rehearsing?”
“In public,” Blaine added. “Yes, yes we did,” Blaine laughed and leaned over to kiss Kurt, which ended up more on the side of his mouth than full on the lips. Kurt turned into the kiss and brought a hand up to cup Blaine's face as they enjoyed the still new feeling of each other's lips for a few more seconds.
“We really should rehearse," Kurt admitted. "But I really don’t see that happening anytime in the next few hours. Plus, I’m starving.” Kurt stood up and offered his hand to help pull Blaine up. “Why don’t we go to the Lima Bean and then back to my house. My dad is working late tonight.” Kurt smiled and raised an eyebrow at Blaine suggestively. “We’ll rehearse after dinner.”
“You always have the best ideas,” Blaine said giving him a quick peck again before moving towards the table to collect the makings of Pavarotti’s casket.
