Skincare~ I was just watching someone's skincare routine on YouTube last night. I never even thought about skincare and all of that until I moved to Japan. Now I don't know how I got away with not doing anything for so many years.
I've gotten really into that subreddit recently, too! I added oil and an AHA in my night-time routine, trying to be more consistent with daytime moisturizers with SPF. I wish I had done more "documenting" - I can't really tell what (if anything) has changed.
I usually just do water in the morning, since I'm a desert rat and the humid air doesn't always agree with me -_-;; but I use Hada Labo for moisturizer too. It's Gokujyun? Perfect Simple? idk. It's kind of in between a gel and a cream, but it's pretty light, so if I only use a little then it doesn't feel too heavy on my skin.
I bought some Nivea cream but it's too thick for my face, so I've been using it as body cream instead, and that seems to work a bit better. I'm still looking for a good face wash though... I want to try that Paula's Choice AHA! It sounds nice ToT
For a while I was using olive oil as a moisturizer, and it was actually pretty nice. I might go back to that.
