Relaxing Day

Today was nice (simple, yet so true). I spent an hour jogging, and then I showered and sat outside to finish the 5th Harry Potter book (I know, I know...I'm getting there). I drank some tea and read until my eyes were too tired. Then I watched the Sox game (or the last half hour); and I was in such a good mood because A-Rod and Mariano Rivera

Hi Mel! Glad you had a good day, and that your upcoming gigs are paid ones! You'll be pleased and maybe amazed that I *raked* today. I want to plant a perennial border across from the stairs, and in the corner by the porch. I want to get a nice lilac bush, and maybe a spirea...and some more irises and peonies, and some roses that will bloom often. I think I'll look for a pure white tall bearded iris to start with...I don't think we have one like that here in the yard.
