I'm so sorry to interrupt, I know everyone must be busy studying.

I have been thinking about classes for next year and I wondered if any of the sixth or even seventh years might be able to answer a couple of questions for me?

I'm curious about what the workload is like compared with fifth year. I'm thinking of picking up a couple more classes or perhaps some sort of extra-curricular activity next year, but I don't want to take on more than I can handle.

Well, the work is harder, but there isn't as much of it. 5th year has OWLs, so there's a bigger workload, just got as rigorous. If you're faring alright this year, next year should be fine.

Not really. I just don't want to get ahead of myself and then be left without any free time because I'm always in the library trying to keep up with schoolwork.

Nothing huge. I was wondering whether people thought the workload in sixth year was much larger than in fifth year, or whether it was roughly the same.

Well I might not be the best person to answer that, but from my experience it isn't as bad, though with NEWT's next year it doesn't hurt to do a little preparation, that's what we were advised in most subjects.
