[Gilbert had been sitting on his house's table with few seventh year students, until he spotted Serge writing something to his journal on the Ravenclaw table. He decided that right now he would rather prefer his company instead of these dull upperclassmen's. So, he stood up and walked past Serge, making sure that he would notice him, towards the exit. ]

[Serge looked up after writing the short note in his journal to spot Gilbert walking past. As dinner was nearing its end and the great hall was becoming increasingly empty, Serge made the decision to join the other boy as he left. He gathered his things and walked quickly in the direction of the exit to catch up with Gilbert]

[Right after he noticed Serge approaching him, Gilbert began to walk faster, pretending that he did not notice the other boy.]

[It seemed pretty plain that Gilbert was ignoring him, which Serge did not appreciate. He caught up with Gilbert and grabbed him by the upper arm]
