Podfic resources?

Mar 30, 2015 06:13

I talked to some lovely people about how to become a podficcer at the con, after bethbethbeth's panel on supporting fandom, and now I can't remember who they were! Please pipe up here or PM me?

Thank you!

OK, my first reply was marked as spam. I think you want inkjunket; I know I had to run off to another panel.

A few links:

podfic-tips see their tutorial tag
Also the Fanlore page on Podfic might be helpful.

Yes, that was me! There are some great resources about how to podfic. I second aethel's recommendation of podfic_tips, especially this post that links to a bunch of tutorials. The podficcer community is so sweet and awesome and supportive, so if you have any questions live as your doing stuff, just tweet at a podficcer and you'll get immediate support. @podfic retweets tweets about podfic, so that's a good way to find podficcers who are on twitter. But basically all you need is a mic, a computer, and some free downloadable editing software and you're good to go! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!
