blah, blah, blah

This weekend was absolutely fantastic. It almost made up for having to sell my soul to greek life for a week and a half...almost...

Walkouts was a lot of fun, except for the part about having to be there 2 hours early to set up. oh vell. Ruth, Cait, Jo, and Hillary made me so happy and kept me thoroughly entertained during the little blowoff period we had before Walkouts actually began. They were singing and dancing like it was nobody's business, and after a while I started waving my arms back and forth in the air. Everyone was staring at us and giving us weird looks, but I didn't care. I was thinking "Yeah, they're definitely KI's." :) We took a bunch of crazy fun pics, then did the Walkouts hooplah, then the fun really began! The party was a blast, except that, in retrospect, drinking 2 whole 40's by myself was probably not a good idea, especially since i was already really hyper to begin with. Anyway, it was a blast. Everyone danced, drank, and was merry. I was screaming so much the whole night, I worried I wouldn't have a voice in the morning. It was grand. Woohoo for 4 new bros and 7 new pledges...hopefully more to come.

Later on, John Horne and I ran over to AZD and stole their no parking sign, which is currently in mine and Kira's room. :) Then we decided to try to steal something from AGD, but then we got there and saw Tyler through the window sitting in the living room. We were thinking "What the fuck? Well, that's random..." and decided to go in. I made friends with Casey Gill, who, according to Katie Matonich, likes to scream a lot, so I'm assuming she's good people. The AGD house is really nice, btw. Apparently they just remodeled. It's so much nicer than our house...In fact, I'm turning in my letters and going AGD next year...yeah, jk. Maybe we could steal their house, though. They probably wouldn't mind...I mean, it was ours way back when anyway...

Moving on...Saturday was T-Bell and Bowling, which was a lot of fun. Saturday night was Rushouts, of course, and it was much more worthwhile than I thought it would be. Sooo much fun. It renewed my love of Theta. It was really pathetic though because I was completely sober yet I was yelling just as much as Kat, who had previously consumed a whole bottle of wine. oh vell, it was fun. I came up with all new chants, like "C-H-O-D-E's, please don't give me a venereal disease!" "C-H-O-D-E, i will go to your house and pee" and whenever SAE got someone new, I'd yell "Wrong Choice!!!" and "For All the Wrong Reasons!!!" Oh, and drowning out the Rec Center with the Theta Chi song was fantastic. Then we all went like a herd of cattle over to Theta, and it was honestly the most fun I've had there in a long time. Andrea and I danced like a couple of crazy mofo's, Val and I kept doing backbends over and over again (i just couldn't get enough of them!). Good times, good times. I left around 1:30 with LPS, which I think was a smart move -- leaving at the peak of the evening before things had a chance to get disappointing.

Yesterday was a really blah day. I was tired and had partly lost my voice, plus it was just a really gloomy day. Didn't get much done, so now I'm behind on my reading. went to joe's and saw a bunch of people there, so that was cool, except that onefer was there with his girlfriend/ex-girlfriend...whatever the status on that is now...they were holding hands, but then he let go of her hand when he said hi to us. probably just so he could wave, but still strange. they seemed like such an emo couple...holding hands but looking and sounding really unhappy. whatever, it's none of my business. i need to move on, but i can't, especially since he's the only guy on campus i'm attracted to. That's life, i guess.

Didn't get enough sleep last night, got my test back in Personality and didn't do well but at least it's only worth 10% of my grade, then crashed inadvertantly for like 4 and a half hours...have basically just been putzing around since 5ish. didn't go to class because i feel like a truck hit me. should be at the library doing my assignment for methods, so i suppose i'll drag myself there soon.

I HATE PANHELL. ahhh. and I really don't like being VP. oh well, what can you do...

just have to make it through the rest of the semester...i can't let myself fall apart.
