Flynn is such a sweetheart, which I did not expect. I feel bad for him, he actually has feelings. This is like anti-Trust-me-flynn.
Were they dry humping that entire time? Wow. Vicious dry-humping.
I like how you set this up, you somehow made this plausible, which blows my mind. I kind of hate belle now, though. Never gonna see her the same way again! And she makes even more sense in the numerous kink prompts about her dissapointed when Adam is a nice guy in bed. It's cause she's remembering Flynn and their frotting :P
Flynn was awful hot in this. Keats reference?? Man. *fans self*
This makes me want to read about an encounter with Rapunzel and him reflecting about how different they are. I do still feel a little jealous for her, even if he didn't know her yet :P
“It’s been fun. Really. You’re a peach. Don’t ever change.”
I love our Flynn!snark. So perfect.
"But behind that fair facade, I'm afraid she's rather odd. Very different from the rest of us. She's nothing like the rest of us. Yes different from the rest of us is Belle."
Well, she got her nose out of a book, didn't she? I never much liked her, but Belle is a real piece of work in this! Can't help feeling sorry for Flynn.
Here lies further evidence that unnecessary anachronism is your greatest weakness.
Otherwise, awesome and messed up all in one. Hard to feel too bad for Flynn though when he's fully aware that he uses people all the time, but there's no sense that he'll have any qualms about using people in the future despite now intimately knowing how much it sucks to be used. You got screwed Flynn, but you better be less of an asshole if you want my sympathy.
Also, I liked how this interpretation of Belle makes her relationship with the Beast make more sense. It's not Stockholm; she just has a thing for playing rough. Nice and unexpected angle.
The author names, especially Campbell, made me think of 20th century writers. I researched a little more, though, and there was a 19th century Campbell who was famous for writing porn. So I guess the list of author names was random, and I retract my statement.
Out of all the comments here, I agree with wittgens assessment the most. Flynn was no innocent do-gooder. Only fair he gets a taste of his own medicine.
Though maybe, with this encounter, it's his very first step into becoming Eugine later on with Rapunzel? Maybe he'd look back on this and realize that, in the long run, Belle helped start him on his journey to change?
And I LOVED this interpretation of Belle. She was always my favorite and it's not at all hard to see her do something like this when the situation warrants it. :3 I mean, we did see a FEW instances of dark there when ever she was around Gaston. Hell, may not be on THIS level, but she DID trick him and open the door that made him tumble out in to the mud. *shrug*

Also, the line about how it was his only vest made me sad.
