firstly, i think that's rather misfortunate. (the only unpleasant smells i've encountered are when visiting the room of a guy friend, or passing by this one hall - all boys, incidentally - which cycles through smells until someone finally sprays cologne everywhere to smother all other odors.)
secondly, i do think you must concede that people suffering from the black plague probably did not have cough drops.
I also have to say I'm sorry that U-M smells both literally and figuratively. But nothing can compare when walking through the boys side on the 4th floor in Wilson.
One night we were passing through when all of a sudden we hit a wall of stench. It was bringing up gag reflexes I never knew were there. When we finally found the room where the smell was coming from, it was there we found a room fully of sweaty boys that have been playing DDR for the past 2 hours.
