How time flies!

First off, I want to thank everyone who commented on the passing of one of my family members! He will certainly be missed and always hold a special place in my heart. I will still have to deal with the ashes from his cremation. Save that for another day soon to come. It was not one of my more cheerful weekends.

How can you tell if your dog is an alpha dog? I think mine is cause he "beats up" every dog at the dog park...but I'm not sure if it's that or he is just naughty.

Sounds like that is one indication of an alpha dog! They want to be the pack leader and do anything and everything to assert themselves around other dogs.

Yes, that is what he does and he is very protective of me or anyone in my family...he does this gentle nipping at the other dogs' legs if they come too close.
He is my bichon/poodle mix and it is crazy cause he is only 13lbs and will willing go up to huge german shepherds or pit bulls.
