Been a sort of blah week..........Nothing terribly exciting.

Friday is the start of my work week and it had its highs and lows. Was notified by the vet's office that Esher's ashes were availble to pick up. He deserved a private cremation after the many years of joy he gave me. It was the quietest ride home I ever had with him.

Sweet camera. As against digital as I am, I still find myself really wanting a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. But because I'm so against digital I just can't find myself willing to spend that much money for a camera. I'd rather buy a nice TLR that takes 120 film.

I've slowly moved into the digital world as well. The technology is improving every day which "almost" rivals any kind of film cameras. So......I took the plunge and really want to start a side photography business. Something I've always had the desire to do.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog! I love dogs.

And your night shift must really blow too, where do you work?

Nice camera by the way!

He was such a loving pet!!! Ahhhh, but his soul will always be close!

I work at a power generating plant as a control room operator. Hey...everyone needs their electricity 24/7 hence our around the clock coverge.

Thanks. MY Ebay special Nikon D70 that I had mentioned. Received on Friday and now reading the manual to learn all the functions. Also purchased an additional Nikon 55-200mm lens which should arrive on Monday!

Kind of a mixed message. Sorry about Esher. But good for you on picking up the camera, again.

Yeah......another tragic loss, but one has to move on, hence the new camera and working on fullfilling the dream of professional photography. More to follow on that.
