What do you think about merit pay for teachers and, possibly related follow-up, who are you supporting for president?

Let me start off saying I am not the most politically savvy person. From what I know of it, I would be a little leery of merit pay, with the way things are, I would be afraid of it being based on all the standardized "no child left behind" tests. And besides, I teach band in Catholic schools- not to be selfish but how would this benefit me?

I tend to lean Democratic, and I like Barack better than Hilary, but it's too early for me to tell for sure.

Hmmm well it has been years since I read Wuthering Heights, and I liked Jane Eyre much better, but I think Jane Eyre might be too goody-goody to fight. I seem to remember Catherine was a little feistier?
